Moey Hewitt currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida. She received her BFA from the University of Central Florida in 2016, and was an elementary school art teacher for several years before recently pursuing an MFA from Florida State University. Having lived in several regions in Florida throughout her life, she has found consistency and a sense of home through the Florida landscape. She finds inspiration for her artwork through movement and the outdoors, and can often be spotted roller skating or hiking while carrying handfuls of materials which she has gathered for her art practice along the way.
